Fablehaven: Rise of the evening star(book 2) by Brandon Mull

Book Review by: G.W., 5th grade
Genre: Fantasy
# of pages: 435 (+ peek of Beyonders)

Summary:
This book is also like Harry Potter. Their is magic. Seth and Kendra find their self back in Fablehaven and find out that they have to go on a mission to find the artifact that is hidden in Fablehaven, and keep it away from a secret and evil organization called the Society of the Evening Star.

Opinion:
My opinion about this book is that it is good. This is because it has magic and it is has quite a few things in common with Harry Potter. If you like reading Harry Potter, then you are probably going to like this book. At first I thought I would hate the series, until I decided to give it a try.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

Book Review by: G.W., 5th grade
Genre: Fantasy, fiction
# of pages: 759

Summary:
Voldemort, once again, aims an attack on the famous Harry Potter. This time he will kill him for sure. Or will he? Harry Potter continues the mission Dumbledore gave him: kill the horcruxes. But for one of them, Ron, Hermione, and Harry will have to go to the now dark wizard-swarmed Hogwarts to get it and destroy it. But with all of the disadvantages, they could fail Dumbledore. They meet Aberforth, Dumbledore’s brother, and dig out the truth about the family of Dumbledores. And exactly who Ariana was. They soon have a battle against Voldemort and his Death Eater friends, with almost all of Hogwarts fighting to support them. ALMOST. Slytherins just won’t help! And besides, they have to be overage to be able to fight. And Harry just so happens to find out that maybe he should die, for the sake of his magic world…

Opinion:
My opinion about this book is that is the second best book out of the series. This is because it is very exciting, and it just makes you want to keep on reading. It tells you the epilogue(near the end). YOU MUST READ IT AT LEAST 3 TIMES, LIKE I DID.
